Can I go to summer camp with my child?
I came across this interesting article at Frommers that talks about summer camps that cater to parents and children together. Until I read this article I was unaware that this option existed, but with so many new specialty camps appearing I guess it’s really not that surprising. There seem to be many new variations on the traditional kids summer camp evolving and it’s interesting to follow the many options now opening up. I’ve been following the evolution of children’s summer camps for years and 2006 is witnessing the most innovative changes so far.
I have talked about how the first time away at camp can be a challenge and perhaps this option would be great for the first camp experience for children really concerned about being seperated. I don’t think this would be everyone’s cup of tea but these camps do sound interesting.
